Na succesvolle bijeenkomsten in Glasgow, Zürich, Miami and Copenhagen wordt het 5th International Symposium on Sentinel Node Biopsy in Head and Neck Cancer op 24 en 25 mei 2012 in Amsterdam georganiseerd.
Het symposium is bedoeld voor alle bij deze procedure betrokken disciplines waaronder hoofd-halschirurgen, nucleair geneeskundigen en pathologen. De schildwachtklierprocedure ontwikkelt zich de laatste jaren snel. Het is gelukt om de meest vooraanstaande specialisten op dit gebied naar Amsterdam te laten komen.
