SUMMARY:Cursus: Hands-on introductory course to head and neck surgery
DESCRIPTION:From June 10th till June 12th 2026 the 13th hands-on introductory course to Head and Neck Surgery will be held in the UMC Utrecht Cancer Center. \nOriginally this course was organized for ENT residents in The Netherlands and Belgium but due to its popularity\, the course evolved over the years with participants from all over Europe and beyond.  The combination of lectures by experienced faculty members\, instructional videos\, interesting discussions and hands-on cadaver dissection provide the opportunity to enrich your  knowledge and practice your surgical skills. \nThe cadaver dissections will focus on the neck\, larynx and parotid gland with introductions by an experienced head and neck anatomist. The participants will be guided step-wise in doing a neck dissection\, total laryngectomy and parotidectomy using a manual and guidance of the faculty. \nHoping to see you next June! \nWeibel Braunius and Luuk Janssen\nCourse Directors
